About the event
Join us at Three Daughters Farm for an exciting, hands-on event!
Whether you're an experienced homesteader or just beginning your journey, this is the perfect opportunity to delve into the world of hog farming. Start by exploring our family farm to witness our small-scale direct-to-consumer operation and our Idaho Pasture Pig herd in action. We'll guide you through the essentials of hog care, covering topics such as conformation, vaccination, and fundamental medical care that applies to all hog breeds.
Savor a delicious lunch with your fellow classmates, featuring our very own IPP pork. After lunch, engage in a hands-on demonstration of piglet castration and roaster pig processing. At the end of the day, take home a roaster pig to prepare at your leisure for family and friends. Additionally, take home a medical and castration kit, essential tools for any homesteader raising hogs.
