Family Milk Cow

Jersey Milk Cow-Share Program

Jersey cows are notoriously stubborn. If she doesn't want to go, there isn't much that we can do. Beverly is full of personality and gives us the best, creamiest milk.

Beverly came to us on March 6, 2021 after she was recently freshen at another farm in Western Kentucky. Since arriving at Three Daughters Farm, Beverly is grass-fed and has received no hormones, steriod, or antibiotics. During the day, she graze wherever she wants, and almost whenever she wants on majority of our fifteen acres, along side Cotton Candy.

We believe in hand-milking. While machine milking save time, hand milking allows us time to bond with our cow while letting us "feel" her twice a day and ensure she is of good health. Morning and evening, she is hand-milked into a stainless steel bucket. Her milk is immediately strained, chilled in the freezer for at least one hour, and stored in glass mason jars in our refrigerator until pick up.

Beverly is available for cow-share for $6.00 per week for 1/2 gallon of milk paid monthly (4 weeks), or $150.00 for 26 week if pre-paid in full.

A2A2 Cow-Share Program

Sunny, aka Sungrazer, is a registered Dexter cow with the ADCA. She is A2A2 by parentage, and throw amazing calf sired by Tank, our A2A2 registered ADCA Dexter.

Sunny came to us along with Tank, our Dexter bull, in September 2021. She gave birth to her first calf, Hawk, in May 2022. We will begin milking Sunny and have her milk available for a cow-share program starting in late July 2022.

Sunny's A2A2 milk will be available for cow-share at $7.00 per week for 1/2 gallon of milk paid monthly (4 weeks), or $180.00 for 26 week if pre-paid in full.
When will you have any cow-share available?
We had to stop milking for a little while before our girls give birth to ensure the little guy/gal have access to colostrum. After the new calf settles in, we can start milking again and continue providing you with share of our raw milk.

Summer 2022 Cow-Share begins July 2022.

What if I can't pick my milk up that week?
If you cannot pick up your milk that week at your pre-determined location, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date/time to re-schedule your pick up at one of our other alternate pick up locations.

Failure to notify us will result in your milk being forfeited that week. This is because we typically do not return to our farm immediately after each drop off, and your milk will become spoiled if not picked up and refrigerated in a timely manner.

Because we have limited number of shares available, we do not allow "skipping" for any pre-paid share. Your share is typically milked either the morning-of or the day prior.
